Can I appeal a justice court judgment?

Short answer

Yes. You can appeal to county court within 21 days after the judgment is signed (or after a motion to set aside or for new trial is denied) by posting a bond, cash deposit, or Statement of Inability. The case is tried over again from the start in county court.
